In case you haven’t been following along, here’s a little introduction to what the Miss Universe Australia program is all about.
Every year the Miss Universe Australia pageant provides a platform for beautiful, talented and intelligent young women to compete to be crowned “Miss Universe Australia”. Contestants come from around the country and bring a diverse set of skills, knowledge and life experiences.
Entries for Miss Universe Australia 2021 closed earlier in February. The 125 finalists will be invited to participate in a six-month self development program where they will engage in a range of activities such as workshops, parades and charity fundraisers.
The great thing about Miss Universe Australia is that it’s more than your typical beauty competition. In fact, the program has developed and changed over the years to better reflect the modern woman and send positive messages about beauty and body image.
Miss Universe Australia is an opportunity for leadership, personal growth and a way to empower other women. The contestants are given many opportunities to speak on topics and highlight issues that are important to them.
At Mr Poppins+Co, we support that the Miss Universe Australia competition highlights intelligence, inclusivity, philanthropic interests and healthy body image as part of its program.
