You can imagine how thrilled we were, then, to meet Rebecca Kroon, the creator of Australian resort-luxe fashion label Robe, who is creating divine items for women who love style and quality but who also desire functionality to seamlessly transition from water to shore with confidence and a dash off sexy. OMG! Who doesn't want that?
We adore Bec’s range and amazing signature fabric which is a unique 30% silk and 70% cotton blend. Hers is a soft specially milled, lightweight fabric which drapes beautifully whether you’re wearing it over wet bathers, floating around at home or enjoying a bit of champers with the girls on deck. We’re gaga over the whole range especially the Nikki in Midnight, the Sarah low back dress and the Bridget long cuff tailored shirt.
So who is Bec Kroon? Well, she’s actually a Kiwi but became an Australian citizen this year and speaks both NZ and Aussie fluently - yay to that! She is very partial to a champagne and her most favourite thing to do is have a long lunch preferably somewhere tropical - #totes! She has 2 kids, a dog and a crazy cat who she secretly loves more than champagne! She’ll tell you she used to be a lawyer but left a fabulous job to pursue the dream that is now a reality – Robe.
We agreed our brands had to get together for a bit of sometin’ sometin’ so we are planning a sneaky Easter treat for one of our lucky subscribers, not just to celebrate fab Aussie businesses but also because we want to say thank you to all of our supporters who want to be part of our community.
